Principal
Mona graduated from The University of Baltimore School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 2004, and a Master’s Degree in Tax Law. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a paralegal in a complex litigation firm in Baltimore. Upon admittance to the Maryland Bar, Mona accepted a position with a prominent Tax Law firm in Rockville, Maryland before joining Shanell at her general practice firm in Baltimore County. It was a year later in 2007 that Mona founded The Carpenter Legal Group, LLC and managed a full legal staff for a few years before accepting a federal government appointment. Mona has been concentrating in real estate and tax law for 17 years, and has worked as a Senior Attorney Advisor with the Social Security Administration for 14 years with plans to retire to work with your families full time.
